Facebook posts that delete themselves, right on time

Sponsored posts, paid promotions, anything with a shelf life: set how long the post should stay live and PublishSocial removes it from Facebook automatically.

How scheduled deletion works

  1. 1

Turn on “Auto-delete” in the composer

Pick a preset (3 hours, 5 hours, 8 hours, 1 day, 1 week) or type any number of hours.

  2. 2

    Publish or schedule as usual

On every page the countdown starts when the post goes live there.

  3. 3

The post comes down by itself

When the time is up, PublishSocial deletes it through the Graph API and logs the result. Failed attempts are retried.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel a scheduled deletion?
Yes, from the post in your Content Library, any time before it runs.
Does it work when the post goes to many pages?
Yes. Each page deletes its own copy after the set time, counted from when it was published on that page.
